    At Anointed Health Group, we believe every individual deserves dignity, comfort, and compassionate support during life’s most meaningful moments. Our hospice volunteers play a vital role in bringing this mission to life by offering presence, encouragement, and care to patients and their families.

    Hospice Volunteers provide compassionate, non-medical support to patients facing life-limiting illnesses, as well as their families and caregivers. Volunteers work alongside our interdisciplinary hospice team to enhance quality of life through emotional, social, and practical support.

    By becoming a hospice volunteer, you are helping provide comfort, dignity, and support during one of life’s most important journeys. Your time and presence can make a lasting impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Offer companionship through conversation, reading, music, or simply being present
    • Provide emotional support to patients and their families
    • Assist with light, non-clinical tasks as appropriate
    • Give caregivers respite time by staying with patients
    • Support office staff with administrative tasks or special projects
    • Observe and report any concerns to the hospice team

    Qualifications

    • Compassionate, dependable, and respectful of diverse backgrounds and beliefs
    • Strong communication and listening skills
    • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
    • Must be 18 years or older
    • Reliable transportation (for patient-facing roles)
    • Willingness to complete orientation and background check

    • Flexible scheduling based on your availability
