    Description

Calling all Chess Players! Weekly Visits with an Older Adult in Queens, NY

Queens Community House is recruiting volunteers for our Friendly Visiting program, a program that matches home bound older adults aged 60+, with volunteers for weekly visiting to help reduce isolation and loneliness among older adults in our community.

Friendly Visiting volunteers must be aged 18 and over, provide 2 non-related references, commit to 6 months of volunteerism, and consent to a background check.

The schedule is flexible. (We can work around your availability!)

If you enjoy playing chess and are available for weekly visits, contact us today! We'd love to have you!
