If you are looking for an opportunity to provide some companionship and make a difference in people's lives, consider volunteering with us!
Companionship can include any of the following options:
- Sitting and talking
- Playing games
- Writing letters
- Reading
- Playing music
- Listening to a patient tell stories
- Running errands
- Providing light housekeeping
- Providing a break for the caregiver
Any time spent with them is greatly appreciated by patients and their family.
Patient companionship can also provide respite for caregivers, if they need a break to go run errands, get groceries or just have some alone time after caring for their loved one all day.
