    Description

    Capital Roots maintains 52 community gardens across the Capital Region, giving hundreds of gardeners the opportunity to grow their own food. Help us cultivate healthy communities and vibrant green spaces by putting your mechanical or carpentry skills to work.

    Assist with maintaining our fleet of lawnmowers, weed trimmers, and other equipment used throughout our community gardens, or lend a hand with construction projects such as building garden sheds, fences, and other garden infrastructure.

    If you have experience with small engine repair, carpentry, construction, or general handiness skills, we'd love to have you on our volunteer team!
