    About the Opportunity

WIF is seeking a creative and dependable Volunteer Content Creator to support our marketing efforts and help bring our programs, events, partnerships, and impact stories to life.

The volunteer will work closely with WIF’s marketing lead, helping translate marketing priorities and campaign plans into engaging digital content.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in content creation, social media, communications, graphic design, marketing, or nonprofit storytelling who wants hands-on experience while contributing to a mission-driven organization.

    What You'll Do

    - Partner with WIF’s marketing lead to support content and communications priorities.

    - Create social media graphics, posts, short-form videos, Reels, and other digital content.

    - Develop content highlighting WIF programs, events, volunteers, partners, donors, and community impact.

    - Write engaging captions and social media copy aligned with WIF’s messaging and brand.

    - Use Canva or similar tools to create professional visual content.

    - Help execute an established content calendar and marketing campaigns.

    - Repurpose existing photos, videos, program materials, and stories into compelling digital content.

    - Support promotion of events, fundraising initiatives, partnerships, and volunteer opportunities.

    - Assist with gathering photos, quotes, testimonials, and stories from WIF programs and stakeholders.

    - Contribute creative ideas to strengthen engagement and WIF’s overall digital presence.

    We're Looking For Someone Who

    - Enjoys creating content and telling meaningful stories.

    - Has experience or interest in social media, communications, marketing, design, photography, or video.

    - Is comfortable using Canva or similar creative tools.

    - Has strong written communication skills.

    - Can take direction while also bringing creative ideas and initiative.

    - Is dependable and able to meet agreed-upon deadlines.

    - Understands or is interested in creating content for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.

    - Is passionate about nonprofit work, education, arts, women’s empowerment, community development, or global engagement.

Professional marketing experience is not required. Students, recent graduates, emerging professionals, and experienced professionals looking to contribute their skills are encouraged to apply.

    How the Role Works

The Content Creator will support and collaborate with WIF’s marketing lead, who will provide overall marketing direction, priorities, messaging, and campaign goals.

The volunteer’s primary focus will be turning those priorities into consistent, creative, high-quality content that helps increase awareness, engagement, and support for WIF.

    What You'll Gain

    - Hands-on experience working alongside an experienced marketing professional.

    - Portfolio-ready content and campaign experience.

    - Exposure to nonprofit marketing and communications strategy.

    - Opportunities to build relationships with nonprofit leaders, partners, and community stakeholders.

    - Meaningful creative ownership while working within an established marketing direction.

    - The opportunity to use your skills to amplify programs and stories that create community impact.

    Ideal Commitment

Approximately 3–5 hours per week, with a preferred commitment of at least 3–6 months to provide consistency and continuity.

    Interested?

Please share a brief introduction, your availability, and examples of any social media, writing, design, photography, or video work you have created.

Extensive formal professional experience is not required—we are interested in creativity, reliability, and enthusiasm for WIF’s mission.
