    Evening Farm Caretaker – Help Us Tuck In the Animals!

    Evening Farm Caretaker – Help Us Tuck In the Animals!

    Time: Around Dusk (Approx. 1 hour) Frequency: 7 nights a week (Seeking one person or a small team to rotate) Location: San Juan Capistrano

    As the sun sets, our farm needs a dedicated "Closer" to ensure all our animals are fed, accounted for, and safely tucked away from predators. This is a vital role in keeping our ministry animals safe and happy!

    The Role:

    • Rounding up and securing 6 turkeys, 20+ chickens, and 2 ducks.
    • Feeding and securing our goats and bunnies.
    • Checking in on our Livestock Guardian Dog (LGD).
    • Ensuring all gates and enclosures are locked and predator-proof for the night.

    Qualifications:

    • Animal experience highly recommended.
    • Confidence working with various poultry and livestock.
    • Must be comfortable working outdoors during twilight/dusk.
    • Strong attention to detail (making sure every "door is locked").

    Note: We are looking for one person to cover the week or a few people to split the schedule. Please let us know your availability!
