    Description

Advocate for abused and neglected children, become a Foster Care Review Board Volunteer

Get involved and have a meaningful impact on a life of a child. Advocate for abused and neglected children your community. Citizens are appointed by their presiding juvenile court judge and serve one weekday per month assessing the cases of foster children. Volunteers review case documents, interview case participants and collaborate with fellow Board members. The review panel makes recommendations to the juvenile court judge. Volunteers serve as an extension of the court to review each child's case every six months and provide independent, unbiased recommendations.
