We are looking for a Communications and Associate PR Lead who will own and drive Made4Good’s visibility, storytelling, and brand perception across all channels. This role is critical to achieving our 2026 goal of building strong brand trust (H1) and converting that trust into revenue (H2).
You will shape how the world sees, feels, and talks about Made4Good, ensuring every piece of content, campaign, and communication reinforces our identity as a purpose-driven African tech lifestyle and impact brand.
Made4Good is a movement that exists to celebrate the journey of African tech talent and channel that journey into impact. Through storytelling, community, and commerce, we are building a platform where techies are not just made, but made for good. Our ecosystem includes GetMade4Good (Merch & lifestyle products) and ByMade4Good (Media, storytelling, and community platforms)
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global communications strategy aligned with GTM goals
- Translate Made4Good’s mission into compelling, relatable messaging
- Build a story-first content engine that drives visibility and trust
- Ensure all content aligns with “journey + impact” storytelling
- Develop and execute PR strategies to secure:
- Media features
- Industry mentions
- Strategic visibility opportunities
- Build relationships with media, tech communities, and ecosystem players
- Position Made4Good as a thought leader in African tech and impact
- Ensure campaigns move from Attention → Trust → Conversion
- Drive organic brand advocacy and community participation
- Amplify user-generated content and community stories
- Collaborate with partnerships team on visibility-driven collaborations
- Track and optimize visibility and trust KPIs
- Use insights to refine messaging, platforms, and formats
- Work closely with Growth/Commerce to improve content-to-conversion flow
Requirements and skills
- Strong storytelling and narrative-building ability
- Deep understanding of content strategy and audience psychology
- Experience in PR, media relations, or brand communications
- Ability to connect brand, content, and business outcomes
- Data-aware: can interpret KPIs and optimize accordingly
- 3+ years in Communications, PR, Content Strategy, or Brand Marketing
- Experience working with startups, tech, media, or social impact organizations
- Proven track record of building visibility and engagement
