    Description

    Director of Communications

    Role Summary

    As Director of Communications, you will lead the development and execution of GFS’s communication strategies, overseeing design, podcasts, IT, and social media teams to ensure consistent, impactful messaging. This is a remote, volunteer role.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement communication strategies to promote GFS’s mission and programs
    • Oversee creative teams, including graphic design, podcast production, IT, and social media management
    • Monitor communication effectiveness and collaborate with teams to maintain brand consistency

    Ideal Qualifications

    • Strong leadership skills with experience managing creative and communications teams
    • Proficient in communication tools, graphic design, podcasting, and social media platforms

    Time Commitment: Approx. 10–15 hours/month, flexible schedule.
