    Position Type: Part-time (10–20 hours per week, as needed)

    Reports to: Program Manager/Grants Manager

    Position Summary

    The Media / Curriculum Producer supports Blushues by developing digital and printable educational materials for its literacy program. This role transforms lesson concepts into engaging visual and multimedia learning assets, including instructional videos, worksheets, and curriculum packets. The position combines digital media production, curriculum formatting, and AI-assisted content creation to help scale Bible-based literacy resources for both community programs in the United States and partner initiatives abroad.

    Key Responsibilities

    Curriculum Production

    • Format literacy lessons into structured learning materials.
    • Create printable worksheets, reading passages, and vocabulary cards.
    • Assist in assembling lesson packets and teacher guides.

    Educational Media Creation

    • Produce short instructional videos for literacy lessons.
    • Develop simple visual aids that support reading instruction.
    • Create slides, storyboards, and digital presentations for classroom or online use.

    AI-Assisted Content Development

    • Use AI tools to accelerate creation of educational graphics, illustrations, and lesson materials.
    • Assist with generating character avatars and visual storytelling elements for literacy videos.
    • Support voice narration and captioning for educational media.

    Digital Asset Management

    • Maintain curriculum materials within a shared digital library.
    • Maintain consistent formatting and branding across materials.
    • Prepare files for printing, digital download, or online learning platforms.

    Collaboration

    • Work closely with the Program Manager to translate lesson plans into media assets.
    • Coordinate with the Grants Administrator when media is needed for grant reporting or program documentation.

    Preferred Skills

    Media Production

    • Basic video editing
    • Slide and presentation design
    • Visual storytelling

    Digital Tools, Experience with tools such as:

    • Canva

    AI-Assisted Production

    • Familiarity with AI image generation tools
    • AI voice narration tools
    • AI-assisted writing tools

    Other Skills/Preferred

    • Educational experience
    • CapCut, Descript, DALL-E
    • Organized file management
    • Attention to detail in formatting
    • Ability to translate ideas into clear visuals

    Typical Deliverables

    The Media / Curriculum Producer may produce:

    • Short literacy lesson videos

    • Reading cards and vocabulary sheets
    • Illustrated Bible story slides
    • Curriculum packets for teachers or volunteers
