    Description

    6/29 Bink-A-Thon - Monroe/Trumbull, CT

As part of a grant from the MrBallen Foundation we are hosting a blanket making event across eight states throughout the year. This is for the Monroe/Trumbull, CT location. We will make blankets to give to children and teens who have been traumatized by violent crimes. Blankets are the fleece-tied type. We will provide fleece.

Bring your open heart to help us make blankets to give to these kids as a reminder that they are not invisible or forgotten and that they matter!

ALL ages are welcome. Children/teens need to have one adult per 4 children. This does count for community service hours through schools, service orgs and the court system. We are working on getting sponsors for lunch. We also need help setting up the day before - hauling items from storage to the event location, and clean up after.

You do not need to be crafty. You need a warm heart, a pair of sharp scissors and that's it! If you want to help in other ways, feel free to contact Jeanne Malgioglio - ctbinky@binkypatrol.org
