    Description

    Hospice volunteers provide comfort, companionship, and dignity to individuals and families during one of life’s most meaningful moments. Volunteers are a vital part of our care team, offering emotional support, a listening ear, and simple acts of kindness that make a lasting difference.

    Volunteer roles may include:

    • Providing companionship and emotional support to patients
    • Offering respite and support to caregivers
    • Reading, talking, listening, or simply being present
    • Assisting with non-medical tasks or administrative support
    • Honoring veterans through recognition and companionship

    We’re looking for volunteers who are:

    • Compassionate, dependable, and good listeners
    • Comfortable offering support during end-of-life care
    • Able to respect privacy, dignity, and cultural differences
