Eneredada is a dedicated Ethiopian local non-governmental organisation committed to improving the well-being and resilience of vulnerable elderly. We are seeking passionate, skilled, and highly motivated Health Professionals to join our team on a voluntary basis and contribute directly to our community health programs.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following roles:
- Doctors (General Practitioners/Specialists)
- Nurses (RN/LPN)
- Nurse Assistants
- Physiotherapists
Core Responsibilities (Varies by Role)
Volunteers will be assigned duties relevant to their professional expertise and the immediate needs of our community programs. General responsibilities may include:
Doctors
- Provide primary healthcare consultations, diagnosis, and treatment plans. Conduct health education sessions on prevalent local diseases. Supervise and mentor Nurse Volunteers and Health Assistants.
Nurses
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed. Monitor patient vital signs and manage patient records. Provide patient care and health counselling, including first aid and wound care.
Nurse Assistants
- Assist nurses with patient hygiene, mobility, and comfort. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the clinic/facility area. Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff.
Physiotherapists
- Assess patients with mobility issues, injuries, or chronic conditions. Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans (physical exercises, manual therapy). Train patients and caregivers on continued home exercises and injury prevention.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Relevant degree, diploma, or certificate for the specific role (MD/BSc Nursing/BSc Physiotherapy, etc.).
- Licensure: A valid and current professional license from the relevant licensing body is MANDATORY for Doctors, Nurses, and Physiotherapists.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 weeks of professional experience in a clinical or community setting is preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Commitment: High level of empathy, patience, and a willingness to commit to the agreed-upon volunteer schedule.
