    Operations Support Volunteers - Administration Focus (Unpaid)

    Please Note: This is a U.S. based remote volunteer role. At this time, we are only able to consider applicants residing in the United States. Applications that do not meet this requirement may not be reviewed.

    Operations Support Volunteers (Unpaid)

    Commitment: ~10 hours per week (U.S. based remote)

    Point of Contact: Operations Director and Assistant Director

    What You'll Do

    You will support ACDC's core operations by providing administrative assistance across a variety of focus areas, based on your skills, interests, and the organization's evolving needs.

    Administration Focus

    • Assist with administrative aspects of community events such as organizing registrations, surveys, and followup communications.
    • Help draft surveys or internal materials used to collect feedback for programs and initiatives.
    • Assist with documenting internal workflows and preparing guides or presentations for internal use.
    • Help maintain shared records, files, and administrative documentation for the team.

    What We Look For

    You may be a great fit to support this mission if you have an interest or background in the following:

    • An Interest or background in contributing to nonprofit operations/administration support.
    • A commitment to applying organizational skills and attention to detail when assisting with the maintenance of internal documents, records, or shared resources.
    • The ability to communicate clearly in writing and a willingness to collaborate effectively with team members in a flexible, remote volunteer environment.
    • Comfort providing supportive with administrative tasks, documentation, or gathering information for internal reference and research activities.
    • A commitment to professionalism and the careful handling of the organization’s internal or confidential information.
    • A willingness to learn about processes, contribute creative ideas, and provide support for different operational initiatives as they arise.

    What You’ll Get

    • Gain hands-on exposure to the methods nonprofit organizations use to coordinate volunteers, programs, and internal operations in the service of the community.

    • Gain the experience of working alongside a distributed volunteer team across various operational areas to achieve shared humanitarian objectives.
    • Provide practical assistance to projects that ensure community programs and volunteer initiatives run smoothly for the benefit of those we serve.
    • The chance to contribute to ACDC’s mission while applying and refining your organizational and professional skills in a civic-minded environment.
    • The opportunity to perform impactful service, which can be noted on your resume and the opportunity to request a letter of recommendation or professional reference based on your volunteer service.
