    Description

Board of Trustees Opportunity — I Can Make A Difference (iCMAD)

I Can Make A Difference (iCMAD) is seeking experienced, mission-driven leaders to join its Board of Trustees. We are looking for individuals with prior nonprofit board service who are passionate about strengthening and supporting single-parent families.

Please note that this volunteer position requires a two-year commitment. This helps ensure consistency and meaningful support for the individuals and families we serve.

As a Trustee, you will help guide iCMAD’s strategic direction, strengthen organizational governance, and expand our philanthropic impact. Board members serve as stewards of the mission—providing oversight, ensuring legal and financial accountability, and helping secure the resources needed to sustain our programs.

    What You Will Do:

    1. Provide governance, strategic planning, and fiduciary oversight for iCMAD.
    2. Help ensure strong financial stewardship, compliance, risk management, and ethical decision-making.
    3. Support the Executive Director and organizational leadership through constructive guidance and accountability.
    4. Participate actively in board meetings, committee work, and organizational planning.
    5. Contribute personally to iCMAD’s fundraising culture and help cultivate donors, sponsors, grants, and community partnerships.
    6. Serve as an ambassador for single parents and advocate for iCMAD’s programs and impact
