Description
Volunteers at WEECE support our community programs focused on women’s empowerment, education, and financial independence. Depending on your interests, skills, and current projects, volunteers may assist with a variety of activities, including:
- supporting trainings and workshops on women’s rights, gender equality, and economic empowerment
- assisting with the creation and development of new village community banks and women’s savings groups
- helping deliver basic business and entrepreneurship sessions for women interested in starting or growing small businesses
- supporting financial literacy and income-generating activities within local communities
- assisting with community outreach, project coordination, and educational activities
helping with social media, photography, documentation, fundraising ideas, or English practice
providing general support to the organization and participating in day-to-day community activities
We value volunteers who are flexible, respectful, and open to learning from local communities. No specific professional background is required — motivation, creativity, and a willingness to contribute are most important.
