Outreach Feed 6 began in 2011 in response to the demand of local hunger and food insecurity in the Chicago area. They have packaged and distributed over 6 million nutritious meals to neighbors.

As an Outreach Feed 6 Logistics Volunteer, you will join Outreach Feed 6, 12-15 x a year at Chicago meal packaging events serving the Chicago Metropolitan Area. Volunteers engage in a myriad of support roles, including event set-up, restocking of production lines, welcoming and training of packaging volunteers, logistics, and event clean-up. Events typically will produce between 30,000 and 150,000 meals over a 7 to 8 hour period. Average hours are from 7am - 3pm on event days.
