    Description

    Impactability Inclusive Mentoring Programs, Advocacy, and Career Training

    Location: Bronx, NY, USA (Remote / Virtual) Commitment: Minimum 2–3 hours per month (evenings may be required) Position Type: Volunteer

    Position Overview

    Impactability is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Human Resources Administrator to support core HR operations and volunteer coordination. This role is essential in maintaining accurate records, supporting recruitment activities, and ensuring smooth administrative HR processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates clearly, and is motivated to contribute to a mission-driven nonprofit organization focused on inclusive mentoring and career development

    Key Roles and Responsibilities

    • Maintain and update HR files, records, and internal databases
    • Create, format, and distribute HR-related documents and communications
    • Maintain HR calendars and assist with coordination of HR activities
    • Compile reports, spreadsheets, and basic HR metrics as needed
    • Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates and volunteers
    • Support volunteer engagement and promotion through social media and volunteer platforms (e.g., Taproot, VolunteerMatch)
    • Ensure confidentiality and accuracy in all HR-related documentation.

    • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
    • Dependable, responsive to feedback, and able to follow direction
    • Comfortable working independently in a virtual environment
    • Commitment to continuous improvement and learning
