    Description

    Cage Cleaners Needed

Get your weekly dose of cat love from New Beginnings Cat Rescue! NBCR maintains the adoption center at the Garland PetSmart. The cats and kittens need daily attention, feeding, watering, grooming, cleaning litter boxes, and of course play and social interaction.

We have cage cleaners come in twice a day. Most morning cage cleaners come in before 11am and evening cage cleaners come in after 5pm. As each cage is cleaned the kitty comes out to explore, play with toys and use scratching posts. Cleaners sanitize the cage, shake out the beds and provide clean bedding if needed, scoop the litterbox, and give the kitty fresh food and water. We train each person for this position, and while it isn't the easiest job, it certainly has its rewards! You get one-on-one time with the kitties and who appreciates a clean environment as much as a cat?

If you live in the Garland or DFW area and would like to help with this task, please consider volunteering with New Beginnings Cat Rescue.
