General Description of Role:
ABCD’s Energy Department offers a variety of programs to help households pay heating bills, and access weatherization measures and effective and cost- efficient heating systems. Additionally, ABCD works with utility companies, local businesses, and residents to offer green energy services and education. These partnerships ensure that low-income residents have access to the information and services they need to keep energy costs low and help the environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Record receipt of client documentation and assist in filing.
- Help organize and maintain client files.
- Perform light data entry using program software.
- Communicate with clients on the phone to provide basic information about the application process, as needed.
- Provide general support to office staff.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, with emphasis on detail.
- Ability to handle large volumes of paperwork.
- Ability to deal sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
