About Ohio Animal Advocates
Ohio Animal Advocates works to protect animals across Ohio through advocacy, education, and collaboration. We amplify the voices of Ohio’s animals and the people who care about them by promoting humane laws and empowering citizens to take action for change.
About the Role
We’re looking for passionate volunteers to help expand our grassroots advocacy network! As a Grassroots Animal Advocacy Volunteer, you’ll help mobilize Ohioans to support stronger animal welfare protections at the state and local level.
You’ll assist with activities like:
- Sharing OAA’s action alerts and campaigns with your local community
- Contacting legislators to advocate for animal-friendly bills
- Recruiting new supporters to join OAA’s advocacy network
- Helping collect and share stories that highlight the impact of humane legislation
- Representing OAA at community events (optional, as available)
