The Communications & Social Media Volunteer will support public education and advocacy efforts by helping manage and grow the organization’s digital presence.
Responsibilities include drafting and scheduling social media posts, assisting with the development of content calendars and awareness campaigns, creating graphics using tools such as Canva, monitoring engagement, and helping respond to comments or messages as appropriate. Volunteers may also assist with hashtag research, tracking campaign performance, and helping elevate survivor voices through thoughtful digital storytelling.
Ideal candidates have strong writing skills, familiarity with social media platforms, basic graphic design experience, and an interest in advocacy communications. Experience with nonprofit communications or digital organizing is helpful but not required.
