    Description

    Food Shelf and Distribution Assistant - Brooklyn Park

    The Salvation Army Brooklyn Park location is serving families and individuals in need with a drive up Food Distribution on Tuesdays from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm as well as through food shelf appointments.

    Volunteers are needed to help pack boxes/bags with food, assist with unloading food deliveries, stocking the pantry, reorganizing stock, inventory, sanitizing food distribution area, among other tasks. It is helpful to have the ability to lift heavier items 25-50 lbs.

    Shifts that are available:

    Mondays 11:00 - 2:30 pm (food box packing and unloading delivery)

    Tuesdays: 10:00 - 12:30 pm (distribution event)

    Thursdays: 10:00-12:00 pm (food box packing)

    Fridays: 10:00 am-12:00 pm (packing and loading)
