    Here, you'll complete your volunteer application, orientation, and onboarding paperwork. Once you're ready to begin, you'll choose a patient in a location that's convenient for your home, school, or work.

    Whether you live in Wichita or a surrounding community, we'll work with you to find a patient placement that's convenient for you. You choose your own schedule, including the day and time that works best with your classes, work, and other commitments. Volunteer just 1 to 2 hours each week while gaining meaningful patient-facing experience and making a lasting difference in the life of a hospice patient.

    If you're interested in becoming a volunteer, contact our office to schedule an interview and begin the volunteer onboarding process. If you're ready to apply, simply stop by our office during business hours to complete an application. Our Volunteer Coordinator would love to meet you, answer your questions, and help you get started!

    The onboarding process includes completing an application, interview, drug test, background check, TB screening, orientation, and any required paperwork.

    Once your onboarding is complete, you'll schedule your volunteer training with our Volunteer Coordinator at a time that's convenient for you. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate your classes, work, and other commitments.

    After training, you'll be matched with a hospice patient in a location that's convenient for your home, school, or work, and you'll choose a weekly visit schedule that works best for you.
