AccentCare Hospice is seeking compassionate, creative volunteers to help brighten the lives of our patients. Whether you knit, sew, sing, play an instrument, or enjoy doing crafts, you can make a difference in the lives of hospice patients. We are searching for creative volunteers to provide a wide variety of services to our patients and their loved ones.
- Musically inclined volunteers can directly visit our patients to share their talents, assist with music at our annual memorial service, or perform at a facility event where our patients reside.
- Volunteers who enjoy crafting can visit our patients to work on individual craft projects together, assist with creative legacy projects, or participate in art activities with our patients in senior living communities. They can also share their gifts at our office, making decorations, bulletin boards, flyers, etc.
- Volunteers with a gift for sewing, knitting or crocheting can make blankets, memory bears or pillows, fidget blankets, or other handmade items for our patients and their loved ones.
These are just a few of the ways volunteers in our organization support our patients, families, and staff.
