    Description

    Organization: LoopRoots Foundation

Location: Remote (U.S.-based, Arizona preferred for initial focus)

    Description:

LoopRoots Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing social work and supportive services to justice-involved individuals and communities. We are expanding our programs—including supervision and compliance support (like ankle monitoring), reentry support, and resource navigation—and are seeking a motivated volunteer to assist with government contracting efforts across multiple states, starting with Arizona.

This volunteer will help our organization navigate state and county procurement processes, research contracting opportunities, and assist with proposal preparation to secure funding that directly supports our social service programs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Research state and county procurement opportunities for social work and supportive services.
    • Assist with vendor registrations on portals like ProcureAZ, BidNet Direct, and equivalents in other states.
    • Draft responses to service specifications, RFPs, and other contracting documents.
    • Maintain deadlines, track opportunities, and organize submission materials.
    • Support communications with state and county agencies regarding contracts.
    • Help develop a scalable process for expanding into additional states over time.

    Qualifications:

    • Familiarity with government procurement processes or willingness to learn quickly.
    • Strong research, writing, and administrative skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
    • Experience in nonprofit work, social services, or government relations is a plus.
    • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Time Commitment: 20-25 hours/week, flexible schedule

Duration: 6-8 months initially, with the possibility to continue for multi-state contracting efforts

    Benefits:

    • Hands-on experience in government contracting, social work program operations, and nonprofit growth.
    • Direct impact on expanding essential social services to communities in need.
    • Opportunity to develop expertise in multi-state procurement processes.
