    Description

    Support Line Volunteer

    Be a compassionate voice on the other end of the line. Hotline volunteers provide emotional support, crisis intervention, and resource referrals to callers through our 24/7 crisis line. This opportunity is ideal for those who want to provide direct support but prefer remote work. Volunteers must complete our training and demonstrate strong listening and de-escalation skills.

    Minimum Requirements of Volunteers:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • Complete the 40-hour volunteer training
    • Commit to at least 20 service hours (four shifts) a month
    • Pass a criminal and child abuse/neglect background check
    • Willing to take an intersectional, anti-oppression approach to volunteering
    • Have access to a reliable smartphone with wireless or wi-fi connection
