    Description

Volunteer at Paris High School Uganda: Teach, Serve & Transform Lives

Paris High School Uganda welcomes international volunteers who want to make a meaningful contribution to education and community development in Eastern Uganda. Volunteers can support teachers with supervised classroom activities, English and language practice, sports, arts, agriculture, gardening, and other school activities according to their skills and the school's needs.

No previous teaching experience or formal qualification is required for general volunteer support. Volunteers should be responsible, patient, respectful, adaptable, and genuinely interested in working with students and learning about Ugandan culture.

Because volunteers work around students, all activities involving children are supervised by teachers or school administration. Volunteers must follow school safeguarding procedures, maintain appropriate professional boundaries, respect students' privacy and dignity, and follow the school's rules and code of conduct.

Accommodation and meals are provided. Volunteers receive local orientation and support and have opportunities to experience the local community and natural surroundings near Jinja.
