Christmas Distribution: Gift Truck Loading & Unloading

Christmas Gift Transportation Day

Help us move Christmas cheer across Dallas!

Volunteers are needed to help transport gifts for our annual Christmas Gift Distribution. Volunteers will assist with loading gifts into trucks at our storage location and unloading and staging gifts at the distribution site so everything is ready for families.

This volunteer opportunity takes place at two separate locations. You do not have to volunteer at both locations. You may sign up for just the loading or unloading shift, or join us for both and help with the full gift transfer!

Please note that volunteers participating at both locations are responsible for their own transportation between sites.

Loading Gifts

St. Jude Park Central

8102 Lyndon B Johnson Fwy, Dallas, TX 75251

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

Volunteers will help move, organize, and load gifts into trucks for transportation to our distribution site.

Unloading & Staging Gifts

Cardinal Farrell Community Center

4550 W Davis St, Bldg. 6, Dallas, TX 75211

12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Volunteers will help unload gifts from the trucks and organize and stage them in preparation for Christmas Gift Distribution Day.

What to Expect:

This is an active volunteer opportunity that may involve standing, walking, lifting, and carrying gifts and boxes. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.

Groups:

All adults participating with a group must create their own volunteer account and complete their digital waiver. If you need to reserve multiple volunteer slots for a group, please contact volunteer@ccdallas.org.

Minors:

Volunteers ages 14–17 must be supervised by a parent or guardian while volunteering and must have a signed waiver. Waivers will also be available on-site. If your group includes minors, please create a team to reserve your group’s volunteer slots.
