    Description

    Santa Barbara Zoo International Vulture Awareness Day

    Celebrate International Vulture Awareness Day with us at the Santa Barbara Zoo. We will be tabling to there as part of their fun and interactive day where guests can learn about nature’s cleanup crew. Visitors will learn fun facts about local vulture species, including the Zoo’s California condor and turkey vulture, as well as several species of African vultures that are a part of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums’ African Vulture SAFE (Saving Animals From Extinction) conservation program.

    We'll send specific details about parking and entry to the zoo the week of the event, but both are free for event volunteers.
