    About Conversations to Remember

    We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to combating senior loneliness and fostering intergenerational connections through virtual visits between older adults and student volunteers. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated volunteer to lead our team of Senior Outreach Specialists.

    This is an Unpaid Position

    Position: Outreach Specialist Manager/Mentor

    Commitment: Minimum 10 hours per week, with a desire for a long-term commitment.

    About the Role: As the Outreach Specialists Manager, you will play a crucial role in expanding the reach of our impactful virtual visit program. You will lead and mentor a team of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about connecting older adults or students with our program.

    Our Outreach Specialists work to spread the word about our virtual visit program by reaching out to various organizations and groups around the country.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide ongoing guidance, support, and mentorship to the volunteer Outreach Specialists.
    • Quality Assurance: Regularly check in with specialists to ensure their outreach activities align with Conversations to Remember's standards and goals.
    • Tracking & Reporting: Oversee the tracking of all outreach efforts, monitoring progress and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Follow-Up: Ensure effective follow-up on all outreach initiatives, optimizing conversion rates for program participation.
    • Strategy Input: Contribute to the refinement of outreach strategies to maximize program enrollment.

    • A compassionate individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
    • Experience in management, team leadership, sales, community relations, or a related field is highly desirable.
    • A self-starter who is reliable, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
    • Someone with a genuine interest in combating senior loneliness and promoting intergenerational connection.
