Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a volunteer to provide individual, in‑person companionship for an older adult living in an adult care home. This role focuses on meaningful conversation and intellectual engagement in a calm, one‑on‑one setting.

Communication & Support Needs

• • The participant may be hard of hearing at times
  • Hearing aids are used; assistive listening devices are available at the home
  • Volunteers should be comfortable speaking clearly, facing the participant, and checking for understanding
