    Description

    The Sustainable Run for Development (SURUDEV) is seeking dedicated and creative Online Fundraising Volunteers to help mobilize resources for our ongoing Agroecology and Landscape Restoration Project. This initiative supports rural women and youth to adopt climate-smart farming, reforestation, mushroom cultivation, and pollinator protection—while restoring degraded watersheds and farmlands across northern Cameroon.

    As an online fundraiser, you’ll work remotely with our passionate grassroots team to help raise awareness and attract funding through crowdfunding campaigns, social media storytelling, and partnership outreach on platforms such as GlobalGiving, GoFundMe, and Idealist itself.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and share creative fundraising ideas and content for our campaigns

    • Support in writing compelling donor messages, posts, and short videos

    • Help identify new donors, sponsors, and global supporters

    • Share our cause across your social media and professional networks

    • Participate in periodic online meetings and progress updates

    Skills and Experience

    • Interest in environmental conservation, agroecology, or community development

    • Good communication and writing skills (English or French)

    • Familiarity with social media, crowdfunding, or digital marketing is a plus

    • Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed to making a difference remotely
