Stronger Than Cancer is seeking a dedicated Fundraising Volunteer to help expand our impact and support individuals and families affected by cancer. This role helps sustain our care kit program, where we prepare and deliver care kits to breast cancer patients, along with our outreach initiatives and educational efforts.

Responsibilities -

• Organize simple community fundraisers such as setting up a table at a public location (with permission) like a school, gym, library, park, or health fair and fundraising through cookies, lemonade, bracelets, or other handmade items

• Research and reach out to potential donors and sponsors, including local businesses and corporate employees

• Support peer to peer and online fundraising efforts

• Track outreach efforts and help maintain organized donor records

• Represent the organization professionally during community outreach

Qualifications -

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Comfortable with basic online research and outreach

• Self motivated and able to work independently

• Passion for community service and supporting people affected by cancer

• Prior fundraising or nonprofit experience is helpful but not required
