    Description

BASK is recruiting multiple Founding Visual Content Designers to create Instagram carousels, campaign graphics, founder-story posts, opportunity graphics, and other branded media.

This role is for students who enjoy visual communication and want their work to be publicly used. You do not need professional design experience, but you should have a strong sense of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.

    What You’ll Do

    • Produce two completed carousels or major graphics each week
    • Turn research briefs into clear, visually engaging content
    • Design opportunity, educational, founder-story, and campaign posts
    • Work within BASK’s evolving visual identity
    • Improve templates and propose new creative directions
    • Select appropriate typography, imagery, and layout systems
    • Complete revisions within agreed deadlines
    • Help ensure BASK’s content looks consistent without becoming repetitive

    Commitment

    • Fully remote
    • Approximately 2–4 hours per week
    • Two completed visual pieces per week
    • Initial three-month term, renewable
    • Applicants accepted globally
    • Open to students ages 13–18

    Ideal Candidate

You may be a strong fit if you:

    • Use Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools
    • Understand basic typography and composition
    • Can transform information into an easy-to-follow visual story
    • Follow current youth, media, editorial, or digital-design aesthetics
    • Are willing to revise work based on feedback
    • Meet deadlines consistently

Applicants may submit school-club posts, posters, personal designs, mock carousels, or other creative samples.

    What You’ll Gain

    • Published design work for a youth-led nonprofit
    • Portfolio-ready carousels and campaigns
    • Experience contributing to a developing brand system
    • Verified volunteer-service hours
    • Opportunities to advance into Visual Design Lead roles
    • Eligibility to request a recommendation letter after strong and consistent service

This is an unpaid volunteer position. Recommendation letters are earned and are not guaranteed.
