    Description

    Front Desk/Visitor Services Volunteer at Sheboygan County Museum

    Objective: To provide a positive experience to guests visiting the Sheboygan County

    Museum.

    Potential Tasks:

    • Greet visitor and introduce them to the Museum

    • Sell admission passes to visitors

    • Handle cash and credit card transactions for admission and store items

    • Answer frequently asked questions from visitors

    • Assisting with occasional preparatory tasks for Museum programming and/or operations (cutting papers, preparing materials for crafts and Education Programs, etc.)

    Qualifications:

    • Enthusiasm for working with people and engaging with the public; good communication skills

    • Cash handling experience, or comfort with cash handling

    • Strong capacity for adapting to a variety of situations

    • Weekday and/or weekend availability
