Chaplains must be full-time or retired clergy and ordained/licensed by the members of a church or religious order and in full connection with same.
Description
Chaplains provide the Department and citizens of Colorado Springs with the services of a chaplain on a 24 hour/7 day a week basis. Chaplains build and maintain an attitude of cooperation and mutual respect between the Department and Colorado Springs citizens. Chaplains provide counseling, consultation, and other forms of human crisis intervention to CSPD Officers and Colorado Springs citizens.
