    Description

    Serve your community by joining a Red Cross Disaster Action Team (Umatilla and surrounding Counties)

    Red Cross Disaster Action Team (DAT) volunteers are dispatched to connect with households affected by home fires and other disasters, identifying their needs and connecting them with immediate resources. DAT Team members play a crucial role in helping victims of disaster on their road to recovery.

    Requirements

    • Volunteers must have access to a vehicle and a valid license
    • Attend Disaster Action Team Workshop
    • Time commitment varies by County (average of 1-2 calls a month)
