    Description

Nourish & Connect - Meal Provider for Resilience Rising Transitional House

Be part of the healing and growth happening at TWCUYC’s Resilience Rising House. We are seeking individuals, families, community groups, or organizations to provide home-cooked or catered meals for up to eight participants in transitional housing. You can choose to provide breakfast, lunch, or dinner on any day of the week.

A cooked meal does more than fill a plate. It brings comfort, dignity, and connection. Many of our participants are rebuilding their lives while taking part in Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient programs. Your meal helps create stability and reminds them that they are not alone in this journey.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide a meal by preparing or catering breakfast, lunch, or dinner for up to seven residents.
    • Deliver the meal or stay to serve and share it with residents if you choose.
    • Bring kindness, encouragement, and positive energy to those in transition.

    Time Commitment:

    • Flexible scheduling on any day of the week
    • Meal drop-off or serving time usually takes one to two hours

    Requirements:

    • Willingness to support individuals who are working toward stability and independence
    • Ability to provide a nutritious, ready-to-serve meal for up to eight participants

    Benefits:

    • Directly impact someone’s healing and growth
    • Build community through shared meals and connection
    • Flexible volunteering that fits your schedule or group service goals

A shared meal can restore hope, build trust, and remind each person that their community truly cares.
