Description
A small local nonprofit is seeking an individual with experience in grant writing, fundraising, or professional donor communications. This is a volunteer role; however, if administrative funds are awarded through future funding, compensation for your time may become available.

Key Responsibilities
- Research grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies that align with organizational needs.
- Write and prepare grant proposals, letters of inquiry, budgets, and supporting documents.
- Manage the grant calendar, including deadlines, reporting requirements, and submission schedules.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather data, project details, and impact information needed for proposals.
- Track submitted proposals and maintain accurate records of outcomes, deadlines, and funder communications.
- Prepare progress reports and final reports for awarded grants.
- Develop donor-facing materials, such as case statements, project summaries, and impact narratives.
- Maintain relationships with funders, including follow-up communication, updates, and stewardship.
- Ensure compliance with all grant guidelines, requirements, and reporting standards.
