    About this opportunity:

    York Region Educational Services (YRES) is dedicated to leading community volunteerism as a proud recipient of Canada's Volunteer Award, through providing a wide range of volunteer positions in communities in the Greater Vancouver Area, Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, and Alberta. We are looking for a Web Design Assistant Volunteer—someone devoted to giving back to their community and making an impact.

    The Web Design Assistant Volunteer is responsible for:

    • Designing and developing user-friendly, responsive websites
    • Collaborating with clients and team members to meet project requirements
    • Maintaining and updating websites, including bug fixes and enhancements
    • Optimizing performance, ensuring fast load times and cross-browser compatibility
    • Testing, debugging, and implementing basic security measures
    • Staying up to date with current web technologies and industry trends

    Requirements:

    • Minimum age: 12
