    Description

Certified Peer Specialists - Join the Survivor Support Network at Project S.A.V.E.

Project S.A.V.E. (Survivors Against Violence Efforts) is building a healing-centered team of Certified Peer Specialists (CPS) to support survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence through non-clinical, trauma-informed peer support.

We are currently seeking individual Certified Peer Specialists to join our network, starting as volunteers, with opportunities to transition into paid 1099 contractor roles. This is not a partnership for agencies or businesses; we’re specifically building a community of individuals who are passionate about survivor support and aligned with our mission.

This opportunity is ideal for Certified Peer Specialists who:

    • Are committed to providing empowering, survivor-informed support

    • Have lived experience and formal training in peer support

    • Are looking to gain experience, build community connections, and grow with a purpose-driven organization

    • Value flexible, independent work that centers community healing and impact

    Current Model:

    • Peer Specialists may begin by supporting clients on a volunteer basis or through stipends/self-pay sliding scale

    • Project S.A.V.E. will be able to bill for victim compensation funds once licensure is finalized

    • As the organization grows, paid peer roles will expand, and sustainable compensation models will be implemented

We are intentionally focused on building a team of individual peer professionals, not organizations, because as Project S.A.V.E. grows, we plan to transition committed peer specialists into full-time, salaried roles within the organization. This is the foundation of something deeply impactful and long-term for Philadelphia’s communities.

If you're ready to help survivors heal and reclaim power through peer support, we’d love to connect.
