    Help Us Save More Dogs!

Tired Dog Rescue is looking for a compassionate, organized, and people-oriented Foster & Volunteer Coordinator to help grow and support our amazing team of fosters and volunteers. This is one of the most important roles in our rescue. The more foster homes and volunteers we have, the more dogs we can save.

    Responsibilities

    • Recruit new foster homes and volunteers through social media, events, and community outreach.
    • Respond to foster and volunteer inquiries in a timely, friendly manner.
    • Conduct phone interviews and help guide applicants through the approval process.
    • Coordinate volunteer orientation and training.
    • Match volunteers with roles that fit their interests and abilities.
    • Maintain communication with foster homes, providing support and connecting them with the appropriate rescue team members when needed.
    • Organize volunteers for adoption events, transports, fundraising events, dog sitting, errands, and other rescue needs.
    • Keep volunteer and foster records organized and up to date.
    • Recognize and appreciate volunteers through regular communication and volunteer spotlights.
    • Help identify areas where additional volunteers are needed and assist with recruitment efforts.
