    Description

    Hospice Volunteer: Hair/Stylist Volunteers

    Our hospice is looking for volunteers that would be available and willing to help patients that live in your area and serve their fellow community members. Our location serves mid-Missouri and beyond. Volunteering with Compassus is very flexible and rewarding. There is a need for anyone who has the time and compassion to help!

    As a hair/stylist volunteer you would be requested on an "as needed" basis. Sometimes we have patients who are home-bound or bedridden. They are unable to leave and might need a simple trim/cut or nice buzz. Your expertise and services would be so helpful to those who have no resources for this.

    My name is Mira Ackman, thank you for your interest in volunteering with Compassus. We are always looking for compassionate people to spend time with patients on hospice. End of life care is a hard, but necessary part of the life cycle. We want to make that part of healthcare as compassionate as possible for our patients and their families.
