The International Youth Federation (IYF) is a global non-profit youth organization network governed by the present Statutes and the Swiss Civil Code. It is politically neutral and non-denominational, aiming to empower youth worldwide.
The IYF is a global youth network, an organization advocating for change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience and resources to empower young people across the world. IYF works in over 50 countries and territories, helping to achieve youth empowerment and improve the status of youth.
Under the guidance of the Under-Secretary-General, the ASG assists in fulfilling the Secretary-General's responsibilities for representational affairs, including the oversight of the five Regional Administrations in MENA, EU, Americas, Asia and Pacific to strengthen international cooperation, performance, accountability and risk management. He/she ensures IYF’s platforms, distribution tools and outreach capabilities are designed to have the strongest possible impact with the broadest possible audience.
The ASG leads efforts to build and coordinate advocacy and outreach from the IYF Representatives around the world, shining a spotlight on situations of importance and ensuring recognition of the IYF’s impact in serving young people, and leads global campaigns on critical issues of priority for the Federation.

Advanced English skills are required.
Experience
Experience within an NGO, non-profit, INGO or IGO (such as the United Nations or European Union), government, charity, civil service, diplomatic, diplomatic services, international development, or youth empowerment or similar organisation is essential for this role.
