    Description

    Overview: The Aging at Home Handyman will serve as a general purpose "fixer-upper" in the homes of the residents Delaware County

    Duties May Include:

    • Fixing minor in-home repairs
    • Hanging heavy objects (mirrors, pictures, etc.)
    • Change lightbulbs
    • Change batteries in smoke detectors
    • Repair door knobs
    • Clean gutters
    • Repair faucets
    • Minor carpentry repairs
    • Install ceiling fans
    • General Yardwork

    Time Commitment: 3-5 hours per week

    Support: Training for this position will be provided. Ongoing support will be provided by the Program Director, as needed.

    Qualifications: Enthusiasm for the Aging at Home program and assisting seniors in Delaware County, ability to work well with a diverse group of people, and punctuality.
