    Role Overview

    Creshendo is seeking a Managing Editor and Program Coordinator to run the day-to-day publishing pipeline and support research operations. This role ensures that ideas move efficiently from draft to publication while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and voice.

    The Coordinator will also support contributor management, external writers, and student research initiatives, helping translate strategy into execution.

    Key Responsibilities

    1.Editorial Operations

    • Manage the full publishing workflow from idea to publication

    • Track all drafts, contributors, and deadlines

    • Ensure consistent publishing cadence on Substack

    • Format and publish content, including final edits and quality checks

    2.Content Development Support

    • Work closely with writers to refine drafts and prepare pieces for publication

    • Apply editorial guidelines to ensure clarity, structure, and alignment with Creshendo’s voice

    • Support development of both flagship pieces and shorter insights

    3.Contributor and Pipeline Management

    • Coordinate internal contributors across teams

    • Support onboarding of external writers and guest contributors

    • Maintain clear communication with all contributors throughout the writing process

    4.Research Team Coordination

    • Support organization of the research team, including roles and workflows

    • Help ensure smooth collaboration across research, storytelling, and integration teams

    • Track progress toward publishing and research goals

    5.University and Program Support

    • Support logistics for student research cohorts and partnerships

    • Coordinate timelines, sessions, and deliverables for student participants

    • Assist in preparing research outputs for publication

    Profile

    • Strong organizational and project management skills

    • Experience in editing, writing, or content production

    • Ability to manage multiple contributors and deadlines at once

    • Detail-oriented and reliable

    • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment

    • Interest in migration, storytelling, or social impact

    Time Commitment
