Location: Poway , CA (Hybrid / Flexible)

Time Commitment: Part-time, flexible hours

Compensation: Volunteer / Unpaid (initially) (Founding Role)

About Us:

Our Giving Kitchen San Diego is a new nonprofit organization launching to address food insecurity and community connection, modeled after the highly successful Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles. We are 501 (C) 3 Non profit approved to begin and are building our foundational leadership team to help us get off the ground.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are seeking retired or semi-retired professionals who want to use their experience to make a meaningful impact. This is an opportunity to help build something lasting, compassionate, and community-centered from the very beginning.

Ideal Backgrounds:

• Nonprofit administration or operations

• Office management

• Finance / bookkeeping

• Human resources

• Project or program coordination

Responsibilities (Flexible / Shared):

• Help establish administrative systems and workflows

• Support compliance, documentation, and record-keeping

• Assist with early organizational planning

• Collaborate with founders

• Provide mentorship and institutional wisdom
