    Description

Volunteering at Mountair Park Community Farm

Join us at Mountair Park Community Farm to volunteer during our work day weekly on Fridays! Not only will you be contributing to your local community, you can learn about growing your own food and take home some fresh vegetables during our harvest season! Come between 10am-12pm on Fridays. Bring appropriate clothing (layers, gloves), sun protection (hat, long sleeves/sunblock), sturdy shoes (no flip flops), water bottle, and snacks as needed. Please RSVP through the link provided so we have an accurate count of volunteers!

You can also sign up to eat lunch with us during our Friday Lunch & Learns from 12:30-1:30 on select Fridays! Topics range from beekeeping to garden insects to composting! We ask for a $10 donation. You do not need to volunteer to sign up for Lunch and Learns. *Bring your own lunch on these Fridays.

The Mountair Park Community Farm is located at the corner of W 13th Ave & Depew St. in the SE corner of Mountair Park & Dog Park. You can use the address 5600 W. 13th Ave. Lakewood 80214 for mapping purposes. Parking is along Depew St, or in the park’s parking lot at 5620 W. 14th Ave. From Depew St, walk down the hill and you will see the farm at the corner of 13th & Depew. From the Mountair Park parking lot, follow the sidewalk down the hill and you will see the farm’s “lower field”—continue on the path as it curves to the East and you will see the farm’s “upper field” located at 13th & Depew St. We will meet in the upper field by the yellow tent (visible from the parking lot).

Feel free to reach out if there are any issues or need help finding the meeting point: (720) 248-8708.
