Volunteer Social Media Coordinator (Design) – Bloggers Collective

Join the Bloggers Collective as a Volunteer Social Media Coordinator (Design) to create visuals that bring our content, campaigns, and announcements to life. This is a design-focused role where your creativity will shape the visual identity of our collective. You will not be required to schedule posts.

Responsibilities:

• Design posters, banners, carousels, highlight covers, and graphics
• Convert article ideas and topics into visually appealing concepts
• Ensure brand consistency in colors, fonts, and layout
• Coordinate with writers and editors to match visuals with messaging
• Suggest new design ideas to improve visual identity

Skills & Qualities:

• Basic to intermediate skills in Canva or similar design tools
• Creativity and interest in visual storytelling
• Good understanding of layout, color, and clean design
• Ability to meet deadlines and take feedback positively
• Passion for youth-focused and social impact content
• Skills (Idealist): Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Creativity, Teamwork, Collaboration, Layout Design, Branding, Time Management, Digital Literacy, Attention to Detail

Commitment Details:

Expected contribution: 2–4 hours per week designing visuals and coordinating with the content team. Flexible, remote-friendly schedule.
